In this year's championship meet, our Marlin swimmers won every swimming event except two.... and a Marlin took runner-up in one of those two events. The team championship went to the Anchor Bay team, which was led by four Marlin swimmers. Aaron Shields won two events (50 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly), and was named Senior Swimmer of the Meet. Nick Victor was also a double winner in the 100 yard freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke. Aaron and Nick teamed up with another Marlin, Brad Scott, to win the 200 yard freestyle relay in record time (both pool and county records). Aaron and Nick also swam stellar legs in the 200 yard medley relay, coming just .20 seconds from the meet and pool records. Michael Martin (10th in the 200 yard freestyle, 7th in the 500 yard freestyle) and  Brad (12th in the 100 yard freestyle, 11th in the 100 yard breaststroke) also contributed heavily to the team victory. Other Marlin victories came in the 200 yard IM (Sean Smith, Dakota) and 100 yard backstroke (Mack Biggert, De La Salle). Sean Smith and Alex Francisco also led the Dakota team to a victory in the 400 yard freestyle relay. And there's much, much more.....
