In this year's championship meet, our Marlin swimmers won every swimming event except one..... and a Marlin took runner-up in that event. L'Anse Creuse, which has a number of Marlin swimmers, won the team championship. Brooke Will won two events (50 and 100 yard freestyle), and was named Senior Swimmer of the Meet. Nicole Hranchook won the 100 yard breaststroke while Nichole Contesti won both the 200 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly events. L'Anse Creuse won all 3 relays, where Marlins swam nearly all of the relay legs. And this is just the start of some very remarkable Marlin performances. Hannah Pugh dominated both of her events (200 IM, and 500 yard freestyle), setting a pool and county record in the 200 IM. And there's much, much more.....
